After six years, Gossip Girl is coming to an end. While I'm sure we're all sad to say goodbye to our favorite Upper East Siders, I'm sure there's plenty of excitement to come in tonight's series finale.
And what better way to say goodbye than to take a look back at some of the best style moments from the show's leading ladies: Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf.
The Best of Gossip Girl Fashion: Season One
The first time we saw the beautiful blonde that is Ms. Serena van der Woodsen was when she was spotted getting off a train at Grand Central. Even Upper East Siders know to travel in comfortable clothes as Serena wore a cognac Duarte Michelle Jacket, a Petit Bateau Striped Top, jeans, and Robert Clergerie Fissat Boots, all with her luggage in tow.
Our first look at Blair Waldorf was at a party being thrown by her mother. She kept her then boyfriend, Nate Archibald, by her side while wearing a black, lace dress by Anna Sui.
Serena looked ready for a night out on the town in a sequin dress by Tory Burch and black tights.
A Trina Turk Espresso Capelet Crop Jacket, a Marc by Marc Jacobs Dita Lace Dress, and patterned tights look very chic on Ms. Waldorf.
Lovely ladies in yellow! For a day at school B. went for bright colors with her yellow coat, Valentino Red Cotton Jacquard Blouse, orange tights, and a Brooks Brothers Wool Quilted Quarter Flap Bag.
For her mother's wedding to Bart Bass, Serena wore a Ralph Lauren Ruffled Fillipa Dress.

The Best of Gossip Girl Fashion: Season Two
Everyone in attendance at the White Party must wear white! Blair wore a Marc by Marc Jacobs Joelle Dress, a Jennifer Behr Double Rosette Headwrap, and Chloe Paddington Pumps.
These high school gals are no stranger to designer brands! Serena wore a strapless feathered number by Marchesa.
It's cold in the Big Apple! Blair bundled up while strolling the streets with Nate. She wore a Betsey Johnson Double-Breasted Plaid Coat and carried a Nancy Gonzalez Crocodile Shoulder Bag.
Prom night! For Blair's dream night she wore a stunning Marchesa dress.
For her big night, Serena opted for a shimmery Christian Dior number.
Blair is no stranger to colors and mixing textures and prints. Here she wore a Milly Beaded Cardigan, a David Szeto Victoria Blouse, a skirt, and Pour La Victoire Tatienne Pumps. And of course she wore her signature headband, this one being a Jennifer Behr Vintage Gold Know Headwrap.
Best of Gossip Girl Fashion: Season Three
Another Upper East Side wedding! For her mother's marriage to her long-time love, Rufus Humphrey, Serena looked amazing in a J. Mendel dress, an M.C.L. by Matthew Campbell Laurenza Amethyst and Sapphire Cuff, and Christian Louboutin Miss Boxe Patent Wedges.
B looked fabulous in a Red Valentino Coat Broacde Coat over an Oscar de la Renta Metallic Jacquard Dress with Alexander Birman Python Peep-Toe Booties. She carried a Chanel bag.
S walked the streets of NYC in a 3.1 Phillip LIm Go Green Go Coat, a Blugirl Sweater Dress, DKNY Mod Plaid Tights, and Camilla Skovgaard thigh-high boots. She kept her hands warm in Portolano Long Cashmere Gloves and carried a Carlos Falchi Brooke Matte Caiman Tote.
A Marc by Marc Jacobs Jacquard Short-Sleeve Dress, Wolford Nostalgia Tights, and black pumps were a perfect ensemble for Blair. She carried a Moschino coat and a bright red Chanel bag.
Serena showed some skin in a one-shoulder Carlos Miele dress.
B's closet must be filled with fabulous coat! She paired this green coat with a pair of yellow Christian Louboutin Pumps.
Best of Gossip Girl Fashion: Season Four
These besties even travel the world together! While in Paris, Blair wore a Moschino dress, a Chanel cuff, Christian Louboutin sandals, and carried a patchwork Chanel bag.
Serena wore a Rag & Bone Razor Coat, a Georges Chakra Dress, J.Crew Camden Brogues, and a Yestadt Millinery 76 Trombones Hat. She carried a See by Chloe bag.
You have to stop at Chanel if you're shopping in Paris, right? Serena was dressed perfectly for the summer weather in a Stella McCartney Cotton Jersey Essential Andrey Tank, Suno Wide Leg Pants, Dries van Noten booties, and a hat. She completed the look with a Susanna Galanis necklace, LAI Florence Belt, and a Fendi handbag.
Serena likes to take risks when it comes to fashion, as you can see from this look. She wore an Emilio Pucci blazer over a Joie Saunders Metallic Strip Tank, and blue Tibi pants. And she had a Chanel bag, of course!
After her return to New York, Serena went for a stroll with Dan Humphrey. She spiced up a simple Nanette Lepore Petal Linen Boyfriend Blazer and Joie Agacia Top with a Gryphon Crocheted Sequin Miniskirt. Her black pumps were Salvatore Ferragamo and her handbag was yet another by Chanel.
More patterned tights from Queen B! Here she wore a Dries van Noten blouse with an Ulla Johnson Solange Skirt and Hue Lace Tights. Her necklace was the Alex Woo Little Princess Bow Necklace.
It's rare we catch a glimpse of B in anything but dresses and skirts! She wore an embellished cardigan over a printed blouse, Organic by John Patrick high-waisted shorts, and Wolford Honeycomb Tights.
This L'Agence Foil Blazer looked fabulous on Ms. van der Woodsen.
I wonder if Blair's former Prince liked Serena's gorgeous J. Mendel dress?
The Best of Gossip Girl Fashion: Season Five
Loving this color combo on Serena! She wore a Topshop Coral Crop Jacket, a Shipley & Halmos Catalina Tank, and a printed skirt while with the girl who she believed to be her cousin. S accessorized with Oscar de la Renta earrings and a ring, as well as an M.C.L. by Matthew Campbell Laurenza ring.
Sequins are a gal's best friend! This Helmut Lang top was a perfect casual match for this sequined Haute Hippie skirt.
Blair's wedding day wasn't exactly what she had hoped for, but she still looked gorgeous in Vera Wang.
How stunning is this pink Oscar de la Renta on B?
Serena paired this funky sweater with an IRO Creek Print Skirt and a Gemma Redux Liz Necklace.
Best of Gossip Girl Fashion: Season Six
Shimmering in black! B & S may have had their differences over the years, but these girls always wind up friends again. I wonder if they planned this somewhat matching ensemble? :P Blair wore a Reem Acra gown, Giuseppe Zanotti metallic peep-toes, and a Dauphines of New York The One Headband.
Serena wore a Monique Lhuiller gown and Caviar Dreams Blue Sapphire Large Earrings.
An Andrew Gn leopard print velvet dress looks fabulous on B as she seeks revenge on Bart Bass. She wore a Badgley Mischka Wave Glass Stone Bracelet.
And in the series finale, Blair wears this absolutely stunning Elie Saab gown.

Wow, I was not aware that GG was ending! I stopped watching after the first season when I realized it wouldn't end the way the book series did, but the fashion in this is to-die-for!
I love Gossip Girl. Sightly sad it's ended. I still have three episodes to watch so I skipped the end of this post! I love how both girls had incredible fashion throughout the show.
There are no words to describe just how much I love this post, Rachel! You included so many of my favorite GG looks!! :)
Great selection-I can't wait to watch the show when it airs in the UK. I think seasons 1,2 and 5 were the best style wise :)
